The new version comes with FE170CG model number, and was told that it will be significantly lighter and thinner than the previous model.
However, the tablet has changed in terms of screen resolution (WXGA from the WSVGA), internal memory (8 GB to 4 GB) and cameras (5 MP to 2 MP). The rest of the hardware remains identical to the original version.
Asus FonePad 7 FE170CG is currently available in the Philippine market for a very affordable cost of 137 dollars.
